Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the beloved 2006 PlayStation 2 RPG, is set to release on February 2. However, it won’t include all the features from the Persona 3 Portable and Persona 3 FES editions. Persona 3 Portable is currently available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, but it’s leaving on January 14. If you want to experience one of the best additions to the original game, you still have a chance to play it before it leaves Game Pass. Get ready for the updated version, but don’t miss out on this opportunity before January 14.
About Play Persona 3
Persona 3 Portable offers a unique feature not repeated in the series – a female protagonist option. Unfortunately, the upcoming Persona 3 Reload, launching next month, won’t include this choice, disappointing longtime fans. If you were waiting for Persona 3 Reload to experience the game, note that you’ll miss out on the distinct perspective of the Persona 3 story through a female hero. Game Pass subscribers still have time until January 14 to add Persona 3 Portable, allowing you to explore the female protagonist’s route. Whether you can finish it in 11 days is another matter to consider.
It’s disappointing that Persona 3 Reload doesn’t include the female protagonist route and also skips the post-game epilogue, The Answer, introduced in the Persona 3 FES edition. While The Answer has divided fans, it offered clarity on the original game’s ending and allowed players to control Aigis. Presently, the epilogue is exclusively playable on PS2 and PS3 through the PlayStation Network, limiting access for those eagerly anticipating these additional elements in the upcoming remake.
Persona 3 Reload’s omission of the female protagonist route and post-game epilogue may disappoint fans. While these exclusions limit the remake’s content, the original versions on PS2 and PS3 remain the only way to experience certain aspects. The anticipation for the remake is tempered by the absence of these beloved features for dedicated Persona enthusiasts. For more such posts please visit our Technology section.
