Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux, former Bob’s Burgers writers, helm the third Deadpool film, possibly introducing the X-Men indirectly. Deadpool’s meta-awareness could lead him to unravel a reality-altering event, seeking Vanessa or realizing her absence. Development began in 2021, with an R-rating confirmed by Feige. Shawn Levy directs, with Reynolds, Reese, and Wernick returning. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfayden join, alongside familiar faces like Rob Delany and Jennifer Garner.

Emma Caulfield and Aubrey Plaza join the cast, along with others like Debra Jo Rupp and Patti LuPone. Trey Sartorius plays a character named “Nate Richards,” possibly crucial to the Multiverse Saga. The show’s subtitle changed to Darkhold Diaries.
IRONHEART (SERIES)

Riri Williams, portrayed by Dominque Thorne, is a brilliant robotics prodigy in Marvel comics. She creates an advanced suit of armor surpassing Tony Stark’s technology, facing off against his adversaries. DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (SERIES)

After Charlie Cox’s hint about his character post-Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios confirmed a Daredevil series for Disney+. Executives Matt Corman and Chris Ord helm the show, blending a fresh take on Daredevil while honoring the Netflix series. Cox returns as Matt Murdoch, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, and Wilson Bethel won’t reprise their roles. The 18-episode series, announced at Comic-Con 2022, introduces Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Sandrine Holt.
Jon Bernthal reportedly returns as The Punisher. Production faced setbacks due to strikes but resumed with changes to the writing and directing teams. CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD (2025)

Following the finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, writers Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson began crafting the script for the fourth Captain America film. Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson, navigating his new role in a post-Blip world. Director Julius Onah was announced in July 2022, with the film’s title and release date revealed at Comic-Con.
Tim Blake Nelson returns as The Leader, and Harrison Ford replaces William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, now the President. Liv Tyler returns as Betty Ross. Titled Brave New World, the film was rescheduled to July 2025 due to production adjustments following the 2023 strikes.
THUNDERBOLTS (2025)

Deadline announced in June 2022 that Jake Schreier, known for Robot & Frank, will direct a Thunderbolts film, surprising fans. Eric Pearson initially wrote the script, but Beef creator Lee Sung Jin took over in March 2023. The Thunderbolts is a story of villains posing as heroes. The cast will feature Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko).
Harrison Ford is reprising his role as Ross. Ayo Edebiri and Steven Yeun joined in January 2023, but later departed due to conflicts, replaced by Lewis Pullman and Geraldine Viswanathan. Originally set for December 2024, the film was delayed to July 2025 due to industry strikes. In February 2024, it shifted to a May 2025 release, swapping with Fantastic Four.
THE FANTASTIC FOUR (2025)

At the 2019 Comic-Con, Feige hinted at the eventual inclusion of the Fantastic Four and mutants in the MCU. The focus, however, seemed to be on introducing Marvel’s first family, possibly in a 1960s setting, acknowledging their absence until now. In December 2020, Jon Watts was set to direct, but departed in April 2022, amid speculation about John Krasinski’s involvement. Matt Shakman was later confirmed as director at D23 Expo, with Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer writing the script.
Josh Friedman joined for a new draft in March 2022. Pedro Pascal was announced as Reed Richards in November 2023, with Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach completing the team. Filming is slated to begin this summer.
BLADE (2025)
Release Date: November 7, 2025
At the 2019 Comic-Con, Feige announced Mahershala Ali as Blade for the MCU. Stacy Osei-Kuffour joined to write, with Feige confirming a PG-13 rating. Bassam Tariq was set to direct in July 2021, with Delroy Lindo cast in November 2021. Speculation arose around Lindo’s role, possibly Blade’s mentor. Aaron Pierre joined in February 2022. Tariq’s departure in Fall 2022 led to delays, with Yann Demange taking over as director and Michael Starrbury rewriting the script.
Mia Goth joined in April 2023, followed by Nic Pizzolatto as writer. Production was expected to begin in May but was hindered by the Writers’ Guild strike. After the strikes resolved, Disney rescheduled Blade for a November 2025 release.
