I’ve been playing Clash of Clans since Supercell released it in 2012 and it still has me hooked. Even after over 10 years it still gets my attention. They keep the game fresh by adding new content like Clan Capital and Raid Weekends. Clan Capital is my clan headquarters which is built by all the clan members and has several districts. Raid Weekends are weekly events where clans battle each other to destroy the other clan’s capital. These raids start every Friday and end Sunday night, and players are rewarded with Raid Medals and Capital Gold. Here’s how I get Raid Medals in Clash of Clans.
How To Get Raid Medals In Clash Of Clans?
Raid Medals are a new in-game resource in Clash of Clans, only available during Raid Weekends. For me, the easiest way to get Raid Medals is to attack enemy districts. The number of Raid Medals I get depends on the number of districts destroyed and the number of attacks I do. I get 5 initial attacks, but I can get an extra attack if I 3-star a district by deploying max damage, so I always plan my attacks. This helps me get the most out of the event. And if our clan destroys all enemy districts, each member including me will get bonus Raid Medals.
If our Clan Capital’s defenses are set up correctly, they can also give us Raid Medals. Defensive rewards are based on the housing spaces they destroy during enemy raids. One Raid Medal is given for every 25 housing spaces destroyed. Although the leader or co-leaders set up the Capital defenses, the rewards are divided equally among all clan members. Remember that Raid Medals are only given after the event is over. Every participant, including me, get them even if we leave or get removed from the clan. I can hold up to 5,000 Raid Medals at a time. Any extra Medals are converted to gems at a rate of 1 gem for every 100 Raid Medals.
How To Use Raid Medals In Clash Of Clans?
Unlike Capital Gold which can only be used in Clan Capital, Raid Medals can be used in many ways:
- I can use them to buy from Trader’s Shop Elixir, Gold, Wall Rings and various Potions.
- I can use them to upgrade my troops.
